ISU WellBeing reflects Iowa State's commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel supported, connected, and able to thrive. Through programs, resources, and partnerships across the university, we support all areas of wellbeing and make it easier to engage in ways that fit your life and work.
We believe wellbeing is part of the employee experience, not something separate from it. Through programs, resources, partnerships, and a culture of care, we help create the conditions where employees can thrive at work and in life.
Our approach
Wellbeing is personal and shaped by many aspects of life. ISU WellBeing supports the whole person through five interconnected dimensions of wellbeing. Together, these dimensions help guide the programs, resources, and support available to Iowa State employees.
Dimensions of wellbeing
- Physical: Supporting movement, nutrition, sleep, and overall health
- Mental: Supporting emotional health, resilience, stress management, and mental health resources
- Financial: Supporting financial confidence, planning, and access to financial education
- Social: Supporting relationships, connectiong, belonging, and community
- WorkLife: Supporting a positive work environment, flexibility, engagement, and work-life integration
