The September Cyclones Kudos Cart was presented to the Parent and Family Programs team. That office was selected by August’s cart recipient, the Campus Life Communication and Marketing team. The Parent and Family Programs staff was recognized for their dedication to supporting ISU families through clear communication, especially around critical housing and dining updates. The team was commended for “making a meaningful impact on student success at Iowa State University, for going above and beyond to support our Cyclone community, and for being great campus partners.” Accepting the cart in the photo below were (l-r) Kendra Hossain-Morehead, Sarah Peterson and Tracy Borts.
The Kudos Cart is an initiative created by University Human Resources for campus units to recognize other departments, centers, groups or teams each month. The program provides informal, real-time recognition while building engagement and showing appreciation of groups across campus. The cart contains a variety of goodies like treats, fidget items, and fun office supplies or decorations. Once selected and recognized, the recipient team then selects the next month’s team to be recognized and replenishes the contents of the cart.
